60W Apple Magsafe Power Adapter Charger for MacBook 13"

Ordered this charger and immediately became concerned upon reading other reviews suggesting that I was about to receive a cheap Apple knockoff. A product name with four adjectives ("NEW, Genuine, Authentic, Original") certainly doesn't scream legitimacy. After receiving the package, however, I can attest that it really is an Apple-manufactured adapter. It is manufactured by Dongguan Samsung Electro-Mechanics and while it does not have a US Safety Mark label, it does have the Canadian and Japanese equivalents. So it simply appears to be a MagSafe adapter that was manufactured primarily for a non-US market, but is authentic nonetheless. Works just fine with my mid-2012 MacBook Pro.

Q: Does the package also include the wall extension cord ? You say its "Authentic" so you are guaranteeing it comes in Apple packaging ?

A: It does not come with wall extension cord...it does not come in Apple packaging. This is not an authentic Apple charger. I'm considering returning it.

A: Yes, the 60w MagSafe is the correct charger for the 13" MBP.

A: get the 85w magsafe instead. Your 17" uses more power than the 60w is meant to provide. edit- connector style is correct magsafe, but not the wattage.

A: Yes , the hook is made if metal. It has the apple logo on it also. The charger works fine but does get little warm.
